It says something about how twisted I am, that Jennifer Aniston looks as gorgeous as ever, and still.... I can't stop staring at the Lab.

I love it! You both must be so proud! Marley too in dog heaven!
You know, reading the other comments I feel the "poopooers"did not see the bigger picture. The fact of the difference between English Labs and American"field trial" Labs was brought up. I knew from working in a vet clinic that there is a BIG difference and got an English Lab who is sweet and calm. I've seen alot of people make the mistake of getting a Field Lab and ending up putting them down, tying them up or thaking them to the SPCA or worse. What people need to relize is that an animal is not disposable. It's a lif YOU are responsable for. All puppie grow up, and if you do not want to make a life long commitment, dont get one. And as far as the comments on the vet bills, yes they can be high. There is pet insurance for these things. But the truth is a Vet is a Money making thing. Like any other Dr. No matter how unfair, and it is unfair alot of the time. Find a good vet and you wont have so much expense. Dont wait till it gets so bad it costs more the sicker your pet gets. I do love the book and can see how some people see some things as wrong. But look at alot of other people who do not care for their animals at all....at least they were just a little uneducated on dog care rather than just plain indifferent.
Me again, your book is great! Marley had his 2 minutes of fame!
DEAR MR. GROGAN,
I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS MOVIE FOR A MULTITUDE OF REASONS. ONE, I ADORE OWEN WILSON, AND ANOTHER IS I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THE STORY. I HAVE NOT YET READ YOUR BOOK, BUT I AM GOING TO BUY IT AS SOON AS MY SCHEDULE ALLOWS ME TO GET TO A BOOK STORE. I MAY JUST GIVE IN AND ORDER IT ON LINE.
PLEASE E MAIL ME IF YOU CAN, I JUST RECENTLY LOST MY VERY SPECIAL AMERICAN ESKIMO CASPER TO OSTEO SARCOMA. HE PUT UP A BRAVE FIGHT, AND HE BEAT THE STATISTICS FOR 2 YEARS. HE TRULY HAD A CRAZY LIFE AND I WANT TO TELL HIS STORY, AS HE WAS QUITE EXRORDINARY. I WANTED TO KNOW IF YOU COULD OFFER ME SOME ADVISE FOR PUTTING EVERYTHING TOGETHER. I SAW YOUR BOOK FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THE FACILITY WHERE MY CASPER WAS CREMATED. I HAD INTENTIONS OF WRITING HIS STORY FOR A WHILE NOW, AND I DABBLE IN AMETEUR WRITING. ( I WAS PUBLISHED IN WEIRD NJ MAGAZINE, AND GETTING PUBLISHED AGAIN WITH A COUPLE MORE SHORT STORIES.) ONCE I GET HIS STORY WRITTEN AND EDITED, MY HOPES WOULD BE TO HAVE HALF THE PROCEEDS BENEFIT CANINE CANCER RESEARCH, OR SHELTER DOGS SINCE BOTH OF THESE THINGS WERE PART OF CASPER'S LIFE. I REALIZE THAT THIS COMMENT I AM ABOUT TO POST WILL BE PUBLIC, BUT I REALLY DIDN'T KNOW ANY OTHER WAY TO TRY TO CONTACT YOU. I HOPE YOU CAN FIND THE TIME TO RESPOND. I HAVE A NOTE BOOK FULL OF SCRIBBLED MEMORIES, AND A HEAD FULL OF IDEAS THAT I NEED TO PIECE TOGETHER. I WONDERED IF YOU COULD JUST LOAN A BIT OF ADVICE...
MY E MAIL IS CHARGER44073@HOTMAIL.COM
IF YOU READ THIS MAYBE YOU CAN DELETE IT LATER :-) PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU CAN HELP ME WITH...
SINCERELY
JENNI
Hey !
I loved your book, and I chose it as the book I want to present to my class in Portuguese. Congrats, it is GREAT!
About the movie, I'm shure you won't believe this, but when I saw your photo on the end of the book I turned to my friend and said "Doesn't he kind of looks like that actor, Owen Wilson?"
:)
I'm so glad I wasn't that wrong at all.
Can't wait for the film!
A portuguese fan,
